Job Summary

Intosport Ltd is a family-run, 100% Irish-owned sportswear manufacturer,
founded in 1991 and based in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny. The company
specialises in designing and producing bespoke sports and leisurewear for a
wide range of clients, including GAA, camogie, LGFA, schools, colleges, and
corporate sectors. Intosport offers full in-house design, printing, and
embroidery services and is committed to continuous innovation and modernisation
in manufacturing techniques. We are now seeking a proactive and driven Business
Development Executive
to support our growth and expand our client base
across the GAA, Camogie and LGFA markets.

Job Description

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales
growth, identifying new business opportunities, and managing relationships with
existing clients. The role will involve developing and executing strategies for
expanding the company’s market share and ensuring the continued success of our
bespoke playing and leisurewear products. You will work closely with all team
members to ensure that business objectives are met and customer expectations
are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify
    and pursue new business opportunities in both B2B and B2C markets,
    focusing on expanding the company’s client base and revenue streams.
  • Build
    and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high
    levels of customer service and repeat business.
  • Develop
    and implement effective sales strategies, market analysis, and lead
    generation tactics to grow the business.
  • Work
    closely with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs
    and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Present
    and negotiate contracts with potential customers and partners.
  • Attend
    industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance the
    company’s presence and build professional relationships.

 

 

Essential Criteria

  • Degree
    in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline. OR experience in a
    similar role.
  • Proven
    track record of success in business development, sales, or account
    management.
  • Excellent
    communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong
    understanding of the sportswear industry.
  • Self-motivated
    with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient
    in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full
    clean driving license and ability to travel within Ireland and
    internationally if required.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience
    in Business Development/sales in the sportswear industry.
  • Involvement
    / knowledge in Gaelic Games
  • Strong
    networking skills and established contacts within the sports or leisure
    sectors.
